Community Generosity
RESIDENTS and local businesses have shown great generosity supporting staff and children at Netherfield Primary School this month.
With children once again learning from home and the country in a second full lockdown, staff at NPS have been overwhelmed by the generosity and support of the local community.
Luxfer Gas Cylinders, in Colwick, have donated £520 worth of Morrisons vouchers to help supplement those families in greatest need, while Nottingham-based T Bailey Asset Management have donated £500 to buy mini laptops to support home working.
One resident donated £100 towards the purchase of the mini laptops and a number of the school’s neighbours have donated unwanted laptops to be re-purposed for children working from home.
A big thank you to you all from the Netherfield school community!
